Welcome to SISAL 3.0!
Welcome to the Speleothem Isotope and Analysis (SISAL) Database! Over the past year, lead Stewards Drs. Laura Endres and Nikita Kaushal have been working with Neotoma developers Socorro Dominguez and Simon Goring to extend the Neotoma data model to support concepts in SISAL and then to vet and upload the SISAL 3.0 data to Neotoma. We’re delighted to report that this process is now complete and 374 speleothem sites with over 900 datasets have been added to Neotoma. Along the way, Dr. Endres defended her dissertation, so double congratulations to her. We’re delighted to welcome these new records and the speleothem community, and we look forward to helping Laura, Nikita, and colleagues continue to grow, curate, and analyze this collection.
