Welcome to two new Constituent Databases: the EFPD & EPMD!

Welcome to the European Freshwater Paleoecology Database and the European Plant Macrofossil Database! Both constituent databases were approved to join Neotoma at the December 2025 meeting of the Neotoma Leadership council. Both have been organized and launched as part of the PalaeoOpen initiative, supported by the EU-Cost initiative. The EFPD is led by Stewards Xavier Benito and Stefan Engels, while the EPMD is led by Stewards Anna Solcova and Petr Kunes. If you’re interested in contributing data to these databases, helping out, or learning about next steps, please reach out to these data stewards. Welcome!
